As Vice President of our payroll services organization, Charlotte brings a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client care. With an AS degree in Business Administration, she has built her career around helping businesses streamline their payroll operations while ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
Charlotte oversees our strategic direction, daily operations, and service delivery, working closely with our team to maintain the highest standards of reliability and compliance. Her focus is on creating solutions that make payroll simpler, smarter, and more responsive to the needs of the companies we serve. Charlotte is passionate about building long‑term relationships, strengthening internal processes, and leading with transparency and integrity. Every client deserves a partner they can trust, and she’s proud to help shape a company that delivers exactly that.
Marie Jacobs serves as the Payroll Director for Universal Select Inc., where she oversees payroll quality control, employee onboarding, and ongoing personnel maintenance. A Jacksonville, Florida native, she earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Florida and is highly regarded for her advanced proficiency in Excel and her commitment to operational accuracy.
Marie is dedicated to creating a positive experience for both employees and clients, often going above and beyond to ensure clarity, consistency, and trust in every interaction.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Marie enjoys spending her weekends reading, exploring new interests, and searching for unique finds in local thrift shops. Whether she’s diving into a new book or discovering hidden gems around Jacksonville, she brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to her personal life that she brings to her work.
As a skilled IT Specialist, Jake oversees the security, functionality, and maintenance of all organizational computer systems and software, ensuring seamless day‑to‑day operations.
In addition to his technical responsibilities, Jake plays a key role in payroll processing and employee onboarding, supporting both the accuracy of internal systems and the success of new team members. His ability to approach problems from unique angles and paired with his steady, solutions‑driven mindset makes him a trusted resource across the organization.
